I am beyond thrilled to share that I have been nominated for Best Photographer at the 4th Annual Colorado DIVA Awards! This is my first time being recognized by the DIVAs, and to be included in a category with such talented peers is a victory in itself.

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with the team at Shoutout Colorado to discuss my journey as a photographer, the risks of entrepreneurship, and what it’s like to build a creative brand in a bustling art scene.

Every artist remembers the first time their work steps off the screen and onto a professional gallery wall. For me, that milestone happened at the 39th Annual All Colorado Art Show at the Curtis Center for the Arts.

One of the best perks of this job is the chance to connect with people I might never have met otherwise. There is something "wicked fun" about the process of peeling back the layers and letting someone’s real personality shine through the lens.

I am incredibly honored to finally share a project that has been a major highlight of my career: I was hired by Civilian Magazine to photograph the Mayor of Denver for their featured story, "From Huddles to Mile High Mayor."
