Exploring Local Excellence: ‘Springtime’ at the 40th Best of Colorado Show

I am so proud to announce that my digital collage, "Springtime," was selected for the 40th Annual Best of Colorado at the Depot Art Gallery! Hosted by the Littleton Fine Arts Guild, this milestone exhibition is a curated celebration of the incredible creative talent found right here in our state.

A Milestone Juried Exhibition

Being chosen for this landmark 40th-anniversary show is an honor. This year’s juror, Eriq Hochuli, Curator of the Foothills Art Center, had the difficult task of selecting pieces that represent the best of Colorado's diverse artistic landscape. Having "Springtime" recognized in such a competitive, professional environment is a highlight of my year.

I am thrilled to share an update: "Springtime" has officially been sold! There is no greater compliment for an artist than having someone choose to make your work a permanent part of their home. Recently relocated from the mountains of Colorado to the Twin Cities, I bring an editorial eye and a 'laughter-first' philosophy to every session.

My work spans the spectrum of the human experience—from photographing the Mayor of Denver for Civilian Magazine to creating high-concept digital collages featuring the icons of the drag and variety scene. Whether I’m building a complex 100-layer digital piece or capturing a clean, professional headshot, my goal is to make my subjects feel like the most powerful version of themselves.
