Well, hello there, Minnesota! After much anticipation, we've officially packed bags, gear, and our fluffiest winter coats, and made the exciting move to Saint Paul! I'm thrilled to announce that our little family are now proud residents of the Twin Cities and Jay Cupcake Photography is immediately available for event and portrait photography throughout the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro areas.

It's been a whirlwind getting settled, but I'm already falling in love with the charm, character, and vibrant energy of this beautiful city. From the historic architecture to the friendly faces, there's so much to explore and capture through my lens. And speaking of capturing... I'm ready to dive headfirst into telling your stories!

Now, let's talk about winter, shall we? Wow! They weren't kidding when they said Minnesota winters are something else. I've experienced cold before, but the sheer volume of snow and the consistent chill are definitely an adventure! My Fujifilm camera and I are already bundled up and embracing the challenge.

Recently relocated from the mountains of Colorado to the Twin Cities, I bring an editorial eye and a 'laughter-first' philosophy to every session.

My work spans the spectrum of the human experience—from photographing the Mayor of Denver for Civilian Magazine to creating high-concept digital collages featuring the icons of the drag and variety scene.
