Moving a business from the mountains of Denver to the vibrant streets of St. Paul is about more than just updating a mailing address. It’s about finding a new "hive"—a community of advocates, icons, and business leaders who believe that professional excellence and radical inclusivity aren’t just compatible; they are inseparable.

That is why I am incredibly proud to announce that Jay Cupcake Photography is officially a member of Twin Cities Quorum, Minnesota’s LGBTQ+ and Allied Business Chamber.

For me, "Pro-Community" isn't just a tagline; it’s a business model. My work has always focused on documenting the people who push our world forward—the advocates, the artists, and the disruptors.

Joining Quorum was the logical next step in my St. Paul launch. Quorum represents the "business case for inclusivity," providing a platform where LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs can thrive. By joining this hive, I’m not just looking for a directory listing—I’m looking to partner with fellow members to ensure their brands look as powerful as the missions they lead.

Bringing "Icon" Status to the Twin Cities

My name is Jay, and for over a decade, I’ve been capturing the vibrant, the surreal, and the unapologetically authentic. Recently relocated from the mountains of Colorado to the Twin Cities, I bring an editorial eye and a 'laughter-first' philosophy to every session.

My work spans the spectrum of the human experience—from photographing the Mayor of Denver for Civilian Magazine to creating high-concept digital collages featuring the icons of the drag and variety scene.
